At Lippmann, safety is a core value that guides how we operate—on the job and beyond it.
During Safety Week 2026, we’re reinforcing our commitment to putting safety first in every environment, from manufacturing and crushing operations to office settings and daily life.
Our safety philosophy takes a comprehensive approach. We focus on equipment, processes, and workplace behaviors, while also recognizing that mental health is an important component of overall safety. When individuals are supported and engaged, they are better equipped to stay aware, make sound decisions, and look out for others.
Throughout Safety Week, Lippmann is spotlighting safety through a variety of initiatives designed to:
- Reinforce best practices across all work environments.
- Increase awareness of real‑world hazards and prevention strategies.
- Encourage open conversations about safety responsibilities.
- Share resources that support overall well‑being.
- Strengthen our safety culture through engagement and participation.
Weekly Safety Focus: Falling Objects
One example of workplace safety we’re examining in detail this week is dropped and falling objects. This risk exists across many operational areas and by increasing awareness and reinforcing effective controls, we aim to prevent injuries, protect property, and create safer conditions for everyone on and around our worksites.
The month of May also aligns with Mental Health Awareness Month, providing an opportunity to highlight how mental well‑being supports a strong safety culture. While just one component of our overall safety focus, mental health plays a meaningful role in readiness, communication, and risk awareness.
At Lippmann, safety is a shared responsibility. By staying informed, engaged, and proactive, we continue working toward safer workplaces and stronger communities—during Safety Week and every day.
